LSU WR Ja’Marr Chase got today’s pro days sessions off to a great start with an elite performance at the Tigers’ on-campus workout. Nice day for two-time all-MAC OT Tommy Doyle, who certainly looks the part at 6-8, 320 with 35-inch arms. Impressive day for Ragin’ Cajuns RB Elijah Mitchell as he was credited with an unofficial 4.32 40 time at the Louisiana pro day. And he backed that up with some other very athletic numbers including a 37.5-inch vertical and agility test times of 4.18 in the short shuttle and 6.87 in the 3-cone drill.
Despite the fact that the Blue Devils were just 2-9 last fall, 31 of the NFL’s 32 team were at the Duke pro day. Many were there to see the Blue Devils edge-rushing combo of DEs Chris Rumph and Victor Dimukeje who combined to register 15.5 sacks between them last fall.
