In the end, the only former Sun Devil to work out at the Arizona State pro day was veteran WR Frank Darby, a 3rd day prospect for the upcoming draft. And for the most part, Darby tested like an early-to-mid third day prospect as he measured in at a chiseled 6-1, 200, but with arms just under 32-inches in length. Darby also had average leaps of 34.5-inches in the vertical and 9-9 in the LJ, while posting a 4.56 40 clocking. However, Darby was quicker in the agility drills with good times of 7.05 seconds in the 3-cone drill and 4.25 in the short shuttle. Scouts may also have been willing to cut Darby a little slack as he was working out with a heavy heart as his mother passed away earlier this month.
