Okie State RB Hubbard sizzles

April 1, 2021

Cowboys’ RB Hubbard, OT Jenkins impress at OSU pro day … Oklahoma State RB Chuba Hubbard made something of a statement at the Cowboys’ pro day earlier. Hubbard, a Canadian who exploded for over 2,000 yards on the ground in 2019, but whose draft stock plummeted after an up-and-down season this past fall, ran an unofficial hand-timed 4.36 40 earlier today after measuring in at 6-0, 208. He also had a 36-inch vertical, although his times of 4.26 seconds in the short shuttle and 7.24 in the 3-cone were not as quick. Meanwhile, OT Teven Jenkins, one of the hottest guys in the 2021 draft, checked of all the boxes. He measured in at 6-5.5, 317 with 33.5-inch arms and went out and threw up 36 reps in the bench press and ran in the 5-flat in the 40. WR Tylan Wallace also had a solid outing. He came in at 5-11.5, 194 and ran the 40 in the 4.50 range, but impressed more with times of 4.25 seconds in the SS and 6.97 in the 3-cone, both of which would have been among the leaders at the 2020 combine.
