Duke QB gets 6th year … Duke QB Thomas Sirk has been granted a 6th year of eligibility by the NCAA after he sat out the 2016 season with a torn Achilles tendon. Sirk underwent a season-ending surgery back in September. Sirk had also missed the entire 2013 season with an earlier Achilles injury.
Couple more Senior Bowl invites confirmed … According to reports, both Louisiana Tech WR Trent Taylor and Tulane DT Tanzel Smart have received and accepted invitations to attend this year’s Senior Bowl in Mobile on January 28th.
