LSU RB Fournette ankle injury could be chronic

Report: LSU RB Fournette ankle could be chronic … According to a report in SEC Country, the ankle injury that LSU junior RB Len Fournette has been hampered by for much of the season could be a chronic problem that will need constant maintenance and possibly even surgery in the future. Fournette, a potential top 5-10 pick at the 2017 draft, originally hurt the ankle in fall training camp and has been in and out of the lineup since, although he is expected to play tomorrow when the Tigers host Florida in a make-up game. Given that RBs sometimes have short careers in the NFL anyway, this is almost assuredly going to be an issue for NFL teams preparing for the upcoming draft.
