Broncos get 49ers vet TE Davis for picks … In advance of tomorrow’s NFL trade deadline, Denver has confirmed acquiring veteran TE Vernon Davis from San Francisco in exchange for 6th round picks in each of the 2016 and 2017 drafts. To complete the deal, the Broncos will get the 49ers’ 7th round pick in 2016.

Sooners’ CB carted off … Oklahoma junior CB Zack Sanchez, a second-day prospect for the 2016 draft, was carted off the field with what appeared to be a relatively serious ankle injury after breaking up a pass on the opening play of the Sooners’ game with Texas Tech.
