Trade deadline comes and goes with barely a whimper … All those rumors about multiple big name players being moved today before the NFL trading deadline came pretty much to naught. Indeed, there was only one minor deal today which was really not much more than a salary cap dump. The LA Rams sent veteran CB Aqib Talib, who is currently on injured reserve, along with a 5th round pick this year to Miami in exchange for a 7th round selection in 2022. For those keeping track, Miami gets the better pick along with the player in exchange for absorbing roughly $4M in salary.
