Winless Bengals bench QB Dalton; look to move on at position … When Cincinnati gets the second half of its regular season underway in two weeks, the winless Bengals will have a new face at QB. Rookie Ryan Finley, a 4th round pick this past April, will start ahead of long-time incumbent Andy Dalton who was unceremoniously benched on his 32nd birthday earlier today. It also appears to be the beginning of the end of the Dalton era in Cincinnati. The Bengals certainly want to get a long look at Finley over the final two months of the season as he had an outstanding pre-season earlier this fall. However, if they aren’t totally sold on Finley as a potential elite QB, the Bengals could very well be looking at the top prospects at the position at the 2020 draft. The Bengals currently would have either the 1st or 2nd pick at the upcoming draft depending on who is counting. Stay tuned!
