More star game additions, notes … The East-West Shrine all-star game has announced the addition to the 31 new accepted invites including Wisconsin RB Dare Ogunbowale; WRs Billy Brown of Shepherd, Northwestern’s Austin Carr, Trey Griffey of Arizona, and Florida State’s Kermit Whitfield; TEs Mike Roberts of Toledo and Laval’s Anthony Auclair; OTs Erik Magnuson of Michigan, Oregon State’s Gavin Andrews and Dieugot Joseph of Florida International; West Virginia OG Adam Pankey; DEs Bryan Cox of Florida, Karter Schult of Northern Iowa and Avery Moss and Derek Rivers of Youngstown State; Florida DT Joey Ivie; ILBs Ben Gedeon of Michigan and Marquel Lee of Wake Forest; OLBs Kevin Davis of Colorado State, Calvin Munson of San Diego State and James Onwalu of Notre Dame; CBs Aarion Penton of Missouri, Michigan’s Channing Stribling, Brad Watson of Wake Forest and Colorado’s Ahkello Witherspoon; and safeties Orion Stewart of Baylor, Colorado’s Tedric Thompson, Jamal Carter of Miami, Fish Smithson of Kansas and Damarius Travis of Minnesota; and Idaho P Austin Rehkow. In addition, the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl has announced 5 more accepted invitees included QB Greg Ward of Houston, UCLA Nate Iese, Southern Illinois ILB Chase Allen, Houston OLB Steven Taylor and Pittsburgh CB Ryan Lewis. At the same time, Tennessee QB Josh Dobbs has resigned from the Shrine game after getting an invite from the Senior Bowl.
