Spartan LB Bachie suspended for PED violation … Michigan State ILB Joe Bachie, one of the top inside LB prospects for the upcoming draft, has been ruled ineligible by the Big Ten after testing positive for a supplement considered a performance-enhancing drug. The school is planning to appeal the decision. Bachie is a three-year starter for the Spartans who is currently the 5th rated MLB on the GBN positional ranking, as well as the 71st best overall prospect on the GBN Big Board. So far this year, Bachie has 71 total tackles including 3.5 sacks, 5 other tackles for loss and a pick for the Spartans. What isn’t clear is how this will impact Bachie’s final draft grade, although it clearly isn’t going to help.
