Pats-Broncos postponed again … The pandemic continues to mess with the NFL schedule with tomorrow evening’s rescheduled game between Denver and New England having been postponed once again in the wake of another Patriots positive COVID-19 test. So far, there has been no announcement of when that game will be rescheduled, but there are reports that it could be pushed back until next weekend, but that would require the Broncos’ scheduled home game against Miami next week to be postponed. At least, the Patriots were supposed to be on their bye next week. Meanwhile, Tuesday’s rescheduled game between Buffalo and Tennessee is on alert after the Titans’ facility has been shut down once again by a positive test. Stay tuned!
In games that are still on this weekend, there could be some shuffling at the top of the draft order. The NY Giants, who would have the #1 pick were the draft held this week, will play at 1-3 Dallas, which would pick 5th, in a late afternoon, while the three other remaining winless teams are all home in early games today. Houston, which currently sits on the 4th pick, for example, hosts 1-3 Jacksonville in a game in which the Texans have to be considered the favorites. Elsewhere, Atlanta, which is sitting on the 2nd pick is home to Carolina, while the Jets, who are at #3, will welcome Arizona. Enjoy!
