Ole Miss OT to return in two weeks … The NCAA has suspended Mississippi junior OT Laremy Tunsil for 7 games for a variety of improper benefits. Because Tunsil has already sat out 6 games, he will be able to return next week when Ole Miss hosts Texas A&M in what is shaping up as a huge SEC West showdown. Its also an intriguing way for Tunsil to get back into action as he’ll be going up against A&M sophomore DE Myles Garrett, arguably the best edge rusher in college football these days. Tunsil is considered to be a top 5-10 prospect for the 2016 draft, but ran afoul of the NCAA after a family dispute in which he reportedly clocked his stepfather who was in an argument with his mother. The stepfather subsequently accused Tunsil of ‘riding around with agents’ which got the NCAA interested. It does not appear that much came of the agent accusation, but the NCAA came across other evidence that Tunsil had had access to an inordinate number of car loaners and the like.
