ISU ER Bailey expected to return to school in 2020 … One player who was somewhat surprisingly on the list of players the Hula Bowl reportedly has invited to the latest renewal of that all-star game (see below) is Iowa State ER JaQuan Bailey, who has not played since the third week of the season, because of a lower leg injury that ultimately required surgery. However, according to school officials, Bailey will opt to use his redshirt and return to Ames for the 2020 college season. Prior to the injury the 6-2, 265-pound Bailey had started 37 straight games for the Cyclones and already had 18.5 career sacks including 8 last season.
