FSU DT Wilson done for year

Star FSU DT Wilson out for year … Florida State has confirmed that star DT Marvin Wilson will miss the rest of the year after undergoing surgery for an undisclosed leg injury suffered in last weekend’s game with Pitt. While Wilson did undergo surgery, the word out of the program is that the injury isn’t all that serious and the operation was more of a clean-up. Wilson entered the season rated as a likely top 10 prospect for the upcoming draft, but he hasn’t been anywhere near as productive this year and his stock has slipped; he’s #29 on the GBN Big Board for example. For the record, Wilson had 44 tackles, including five sacks, last fall, but has just 17 tackles and one sack through 6 games so far this season. In fact, it’s been a tough week as starting RT Devontay Love-Taylor, a 3rd day or free agent prospect for 2021 who transferred to the ‘Noles this fall from Florida International, will also miss the remainder of the year with an undisclosed injury. Meanwhile, junior WR Tamorrion Terry, currently #14 on the GBN positional ranking, has opted out for the remainder of the season.
