Draft lite up north … As they do every year, the Canadian Football League will hold its annual draft of Canadian players just days after the NFL draft. The CFL draft will be held this evening beginning at 8 PM ET with coverage on TSN. Edmonton has the first pick this evening followed by Ottawa and B.C. Here is the full, 6-round selection order. The top two prospects for the CFL draft are former Alabama WR John Metchie and Penn State OLB Jesse Luketa, both of whom were selected in this past weekend’s, with Syracuse LB Tyrell Richards at #3 followed by Waterloo QB Tre Ford and the Calgary WRs Jalen and Tyson Philpot.
