Updated WR clockings … Here are the unofficial 40 results for the WRs at today’s combine.
Bama WR Ridley solid in first 40 … The second group of WR 40s are underway. Alabama’s WR Calvin Ridley was probably a little disappointed with his 4.44 time, but that’s could enough to solidify his status as the top receiver in this year’s draft class. Maryland’s D.J. Moore also ran well with a 4.43 clocking.
QB 40 times … Here are the unofficial 40 results for the QBs at the scouting combine. Note that Louisville’s Lamar Jackson opted not to run.
Second group of QBs run … Maybe the big surprise among the second group of QBs doing their 40s at the combine was that UCLA’s Josh Rosen ran reasonably well. Rams to trade DE Quinn to Dolphins for pick … The LA Rams have reportedly agreed to trade DE Robert Quinn to Miami in exchange for what is being described as a ‘mid-round’ pick at the 2018 draft. Wow! Updated: Barkley runs 4.41 at 233 pounds; that’s on top of a Top ten all-time 41-inch vertical. By way of comparison, Leonard Fournette, last year’s 4th overall pick, ran a 4.51, while Zeke Elliott clocked a 4.47. OL 40s in the books … The offensive linemen have finished their 40s at the scouting combine. Here are the updated numbers, although they are still unofficial for the second group. Also note that unlike past years there isn’t much difference between the unofficial and official numbers.
Horns OT Williams runs well … The first 40 run of the second group of offensive linemen at the scouting combine wrapped up with Texas OT Connor posting a solid 5.06 clocking with a 1.76 split.
Great workout going for UCLA OT Miller … UCLA OT Kolton Miler has a very good day goingday going today at the combine in Indianapolis. Miller set a combine record for OTs in the broad jump and then posted a sub-5.0 40 clocking of 4.98 seconds with an OL fastest split of 1.67 seconds. Also excellent 40 times… Read More »
