Vet draft analyst Brandt posts top 150 … For those that haven’t seen it yet, veteran NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt, easily the most experienced draft analyst in the business, has posted his top 150 prospects for the upcoming draft. Among the noteworthy rankings, Brandt has LSU RB Len Fournette up at #2. Brandt also has both of QBs Mitch Trubisky (#8) and Deshaun Watson (#9) ranked in his top ten, while Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes is 18th. Brandt also is reflecting that Ohio State CB Gareon Conley (#11) and Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey (#12) appear to be on the rise; Brandt also rates Missouri DE Charles Harris and Florida LB Jarrad Davis higher than most other analysts at #s 17 and 20 respectively. At the same time, Brandt has Dalvin Cook dropping to #25, while Western Michigan WR Corey Davis, who has not been able to work out because of an ankle injury at #31; meanwhile, others Brandt has rated lower than other analysts include Temple LB Haason Reddick (#37), Alabama CB Marlon Humphrey (#43), Michigan DE Taco Charlton (#42), Michigan State DT Malik McDowell (#45) and Vanderbilt LB Zach Cunningham (#46).
