Bengals inch closer to top pick; Giants slide into #2 pick

Bengals inch closer to top pick; Giants slide into #2 pick … Cincinnati gave division rival Pittsburgh a fight earlier today, but in the end it was deja vu all over again for the Bengals who fell to 0-11 as a result of a 16-10 loss to the Steelers. In fact, as a result of Washington’s last-minute win over Detroit, the Bengals are now two full games behind everybody else in the week. Meanwhile, the NY Giants will move up into the #2 spot in the proverbial ‘if the draft were held this week’ opening round selection, while Miami will move up to the #3 pick, as a result of the Redskins win which will drop Washington to the 4th pick. There is still some sorting out to be done at the top of the board as there are still a number of games on the schedule between the 4 teams currently with the top picks. Miami, for example, still has to play at the Giants on December 15th and then host Cincinnati the following week; that same week the Giants will go to Washington. As usual, the full opening round selection order for the 2020 draft will be updated at the conclusion of tomorrow’s Monday night game.
