Ole Miss LB in ICU … There is an unconfirmed report in the local media that Mississippi LB Denzel Nkemdiche, the brother of Rebels’ DT Robert Nkemdiche, a top 5 prospect for the 2016 draft, is in the ICU of a local hospital. According to the report, Nkemdiche was admitted to the hospital on Monday after not being present at practice Sunday. There has been no official reason given for the hospitalization or any formal statement on his condition, although it is believed the elder Nkemdiche was at least conscious as of last evening. There has also been no formal update from the school on the situation other than to say that Nkemdiche is “questionable” for Saturday’s game against LSU because of a “personal matter.”While not the star player that his brother is Nkemdiche is a starter for Ole Miss and was thought to be a potential late-round prospect as either a OLB or even SS as he isn’t all that big at around 215.
