Thursday night draft ‘classic’ on tap … Don’t know if the head honchos at the NFL Network had it planned that way, but tonight’s Thursday night game on the network with Tennessee at Jacksonville at 8:30 PM ET has all the makings of a draft ‘classic’. Indeed, if the draft were held today, 2-7 Tennessee would have the 4th pick overall (and with a loss tonight would remain very much in the race for the #1 pick as there is little statistical difference in the SOS figures for the 4 remaining 2-win teams. Meanwhile 3-6 Jacksonville would have the 7th selection were the draft held today, and with the weakest SOS of any of the 2-3 win teams, also have a chance to move up the current selection order board with a loss.
