“Meet me in St. Pete”… In addition to the names of the players invited to this year’s Senior Bol all-star game in Mobile reported below, intrepid GBN college investigative reporter Larry P reports that the following players have accepted invitations to this year’s East-West Shrine game in St. Petersburg: FBs Derek Watt of Wisconsin and Dan Vitale of Northwestern; Illinois WR Geronimo Allison; Vanderbilt TE Steven Scheu; OGs Joe Dahl of Washington State, Illinois’ Ted Karras, and Joe Thuney of North Carolina State; Boise State C Marcus Henry; Northwestern DE Dean Lowry; South Carolina State DT Javon Hargrave; OLBs De’Vondre Campbell of Minnesota and Utah’s Jason Fanaika; CBs Lloyd Carrington of Arizona State, Nick VanHoose of Northwestern, and Northern Iowa’s Deiondre Hall; and safeties Clayton Fejedelem of Illinois and Utah’s Tevin Carter. This year’s East-West Shrine game is scheduled for January 23rd.
