Withdrawal deadline coming up … We got a little bit ahead of ourselves yesterday but today IS the final day for underclassmen who filed paperwork with the NFL to be eligible for the 2022 draft to withdraw their applications. The deadline is 4 PM ET this afternoon. So far, though, there is no indication that any prominent prospect who did declare is having any serious second thoughts. Once the deadline passes, the NFL will release the list of juniors and redshirt sophomores who will be available to be selected in this year’s draft. Also keep in mind that any senior, or any other player that didn’t need to apply to the league for early entry to the draft, who intends to take advantage of the NCAA’s ‘free year’ and return to college for another season, has until early March to inform the NFL of their intentions.
