Top LB enters draft; WR stays put … One more underclassmen has declared for the draft with the announcement that Kentucky junior ILB Jamin Davis has confirmed that he will be foregoing his remaining eligibility and entering the 2021 draft. While not necessarily a household name, Davis is a quality prospect who is currently rated as the #3 ILB on the GBN positional ranking and is #82 overall on the GBN Big Board after a breakout year in which he had 102 tackles including 4 for loss, along with 3 picks. On the other hand, Indiana WR Ty Fryfogle, the Big Ten’s top receiver this fall, has announced that he will be taking advantage of the extra year of eligibility granted to fall athletes by the NCAA and return for the 2021 season. Fryfogle had a breakout campaign in 2020, finishing with a team-high 37 receptions for over 700 yards – an average of 19.5 yards per catch – and seven touchdowns in eight games, including the conference’s first-ever back-to-back 200-yard receiving efforts. He was a first-team All-Big Ten selection as well as a third-team All-American.
