Rising Gamecocks’ CBs opt out; enter draft … In the wake of the firing of head coach Will Muschamp earlier this week, both of South Carolina’s CBs – Jaycee Horn and Israel Mukuamu – have announced that they have opted out of the current season and will enter the upcoming draft. Horn, the son of former NFL WR Joe Horn, is potentially one of the top corners available in this year’s draft – he’s the 4th rated CB on the GBN positional list – with top 10-15 potential. Mukuamu isn’t quite as highly rated – he’s #15 on the GBN list – but he’s got fans of his own in the NFL draft community and he is one of those intriguing long corners at over 6-3. Meanwhile, Louisiana Tech OG Donavaughn Campbell, who is more of a free agent type, has also opted out and will begin preparations for the draft.
