Cannon, a solid second-tier prospect for the 2017 draft, underwent what is being described as ‘successful’ surgery earlier today to repair a damaged MCL in his right knee. Cannon is expected to be ready to practice once the Bears open preseason camp in August and likely won’t miss any game action.
