Ex-Cane DE heads FCS route … Former Miami junior DE Al-Quadin Muhammad has reportedly resurfaced at Hampton, an FCS program, although the school has yet to confirm his addition to the roster. Muhammad, who led the Hurricanes with 5 sacks last fall, was kicked off the Hurricanes squad as a result of his involvement in the rental car issue at Miami this off-season. And while players dropping down from FBS to FCS are generally eligible immediately, there is some question whether Muhammad will be able to play right away because of the potential of an NCAA investigation of the rental car issue. Whatever, there is probably a good chance that Muhammad enters the 2017 draft however the case plays out. Stay tuned.
