Will he or won’t he controversy for Coug QB Falk … Speaking of young Pac-12 QBs and their future draft possibilities, there has been a little back-and-forth controversy surrounding the status of Washington State junior QB Luke Falk. Earlier this week, there were published reports via Bleacher Report, citing unnamed sources, that Falk had already decided to leave school at the end of the season and enter the 2017 draft where he was projected to be a second day pick. However, Falk was not amused who ripped the source saying that if he had “to make a decision right now, I’d say I’m definitely staying.” For the record, Falk is currently second in the country with an average of over 365 passing yards per game as he has completed 73% percent of his passes for almost 3,000 yards and 24 touchdowns against just 5 picks; Falk is currently listed by the GBN as the 9th rated QB for the upcoming draft and the 85th prospect overall. Of course, Falk won’t be the last underclassmen to have his plans for the upcoming draft micro-analyzed. Indeed, while underclassmen have until January 18th to apply to the NFL for early admission to the 2017 draft, they are almost thinking about as the college season heads into its final month. Here’s a list of the most prominent juniors and redshirt sophomores who are thought to be seriously considering jumping to the NFL this winter on the GBN Junior Scoreboard which we’ll be updating between now and the deadline date with the latest intel. In the meantime, please let us know if there are other underclassmen that should be added to the list.
