Who to watch in college football on Saturday … Wow! What a way to kick-off the college football season with a couple of games between top 10 teams with legitimate national championship aspirations. That includes Ohio State, the defending national champions hosting Texas, the top-ranked team in the country heading into the campaign. That’s at Noon ET on Saturday and then that evening #9 LSU plays at #4 Clemson. And both games have huge early season draft implications as the top 3 QB prospects for 2026 will be involved. For those that have been out of the universe, Arch Manning, the presumptive #1 pick this coming April should he decide to enter the upcoming draft, will of course be taking over at QB for Texas against the Buckeyes, while each of the Tigers will be lead by arguably one of the top 2 returning QBs in college in Garrett Nussmeier of LSU and Clemson’s Cade Klubnik. Should be a hoot! And the QBs are just the tip of the iceberg of who we’ll be watching in Saturday’s key games.
