#22 Missouri at #8 Oklahoma; NOON ET; ABC: After upsetting Alabama last week, Oklahoma controls its own playoff destiny; win their last two games and they’re in. And while those last two games are at home, they’re against quality opposition in Missouri this week and LSU next so the Sooners will be challenged. Along the way, OU QB John Mateer (#10, 6-1, 225) will be certainly be tested in front of pro scouts. Mateer was considered to be a rising prospect with Heisman aspirations early in the season, but he hasn’t been the same since missing a couple of games with injury and with a year of eligibility remaining is looking more and more like a player who will be back at school next fall. Meanwhile, the Sooners’ best prospect otherwise is ER R Mason Thomas (#32, 6-2, 250).
In fact, the top prospect in this game may actually be Missouri LT Cayden Green (#70, 6-5, 325), who is finally back in the lineup after missing much of the season with an undisclosed foot injury. When healthy, though, Green is a proven road-grader who is considered to be the top OG prospect for the upcoming draft as he likely lacks the length to stay outside at the next level, while fellow OT Keagen Trost (#79, 6-3, 320), a much-travelled 7-year veteran who could also get some looks, as may S Jalen Catalon (#6, 5-10, 200), another productive veteran who has been around including last year at UNLV when he posted 96 stops and 5 picks. The Tigers best prospects other than Green, though, are DEs Zion Young (#9, 6-5, 265) and Damon Wilson (#8, 6-4, 250).
#15 Southern California at #7 Oregon; 3:30 PM ET; CBS: This is yet another virtual elimination game, although this one’s in the B1G, as Oregon is a loss away from being knocked out of the CFP field, while USC could be a big win away from sneaking in. This game also represents another chance to check out Ducks’ QB Dante Moore (#5, 6-2, 210) who continues to draw mentions as a potential #1 pick overall at the 2026 draft, although he has indicated that happy where he is for the time being. For the record, to date Moore has completed 73% of his pass attempts including 21 for TDs against just 5 picks. And whether Moore, who has two years of eligibility left, actually enters the draft or not, the Ducks still could be major players at the 2026 draft as they feature a umber of high-ceiling prospects DE Matayo Uiagalelei (#10, 6-4, 270), LT Isaiah World (#76, 6-7, 320) and TE in Kenyon Sadiq (#18, 6-3, 245). All three are currently generating mid-late first round interest. World is part of what may be the best OL in college football with Alex Harvey (#71, 6-5, 330) at RT, Poncho Laloulu (#72, 6-2, 320) at C and Emmanuel Pregnon (#75, 6-4, 320) and rising junior Dave Iuli (#74, 6-3, 325) at the OGs. Meanwhile, other players to watch on the Ducks defence include S Dillon Thieneman (#31, 6-0, 205), MLB Bryce Boettcher (#28, 6-2, 235) and DT Bear Alexander (#1, 6-2, 305) each of whom has at least some top 100 potential.
The Trojans also feature one of the most prolific offences in the country led by emerging junior QB Jayden Maiava (#14, 6-3, 230), one of the top 10 passers in college football, although to date he hasn’t gotten much respect from pro scouts. That’s not the case, though, with WR Makai Lemon (#6, 5-11, 195), the 2nd leading receiver in the country who has started to show up as a top 10-15 prospects on a lot of teams boards around the league. Lemon combines with fellow WR Ja’Kobi Lane (#8, 6-3, 200), the Trojans big-play threat who has some second-round potential of his own, to give the Trojans one of the better 1-2 WR combos in the country. Meanwhile, rangy LB Eric Gentry (#18, 6-5, 225), a very versatile guy who can both get into the backfield and cover, and S Kamari Ramsey (#7, 6-0, 205) head the defence.
#11 BYU at Cincinnati; 8 PM ET; FOX: We’ll also be checking in on the BYU-Cincinnati game in the Big XII, not so much because the Cougars need a win to keep their CFP hopes alive, but because the Bearcats may have as many intriguing prospects per capita as any unranked team in the country including LB Jake Golday (#11, 6-4, 240) who has started to generate more than a little draft buzz among scouts, along with TE Joe Royer (#11, 6-5, 250), one of the top prospects at that position, and wide-body NT Donte Corleone (#2, 6-1, 335) who is coming back after missing a chunk of time battling blood clots in his leg. The Bearcats also have a rising QB prospect in junior Brendan Sorsby (#2, 6-3, 235), an athletic dual-threat type who still needs to improve his accuracy.
