Top FCS QB prospect to miss rest of regular season … North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz, arguably the top-rated prospect at any position for the 2016 draft outside the ranks of FBS schools, reportedly will miss the next 6-8 weeks after suffering a broken wrist in the Bisons’ loss to South Dakota last weekend. Wentz is expected to undergo surgery later this week and will miss at least the rest of the Bisons’ regular season schedule, but could return for the FCS playoffs especially if NDSU goes deep into the post-season. The 6-5, 235-pounmd Wentz has completed 64% of his pass attempts through 6 games this fall and has thrown for 16 scores versus only 2 picks.
