Vikes get Eagles QB Bradford for #1 pick … Minnesota acted quickly to fill their gaping hole at QB created when Teddy Bridgewater went down with a serious knee injury earlier this week as the Vikings have reportedly acquired veteran QB Sam Bradford from Philadelphia. However, Bradford didn’t come cheaply as the Eagles get the Vikings 1st round selection at the 2017 draft, along with a 2018 4th rounder. Bradford re-signed with the Eagles in March to a two-year, $35 million deal with $22 million fully guaranteed. And getting a #1 pick at next year’s draft is a bit of a big deal for the Eagles as Philadelphia was confirmed as the host city for the 2017 draft, but they did not have an opening round pick after sending it to Cleveland as part of the deal to move and select QB Carson Wentz with the 2nd overall pick at the 2016 draft. However, Wentz is still not ready to start for the Eagles meaning that veteran journeyman Chase Daniel will likely get the nod when Philaldelphia opens the season against Cleveland. Meanwhile, here is the updated list of trades involving picks at the 2017 and 2018 drafts.
