Vet LSU QB Brennan out indefinitely with arm injury … LSU senior QB Myles Brennan, the odds-on favorite to be the Tigers starting QB this coming season, is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to repair what is being described as a ‘severely’ broken arm. In fact, there are concerns in Baton Rouge that Brennan’s season could be done before its barely begun, although it is possible given the NCAA’s special covid eligibility rules that Brennan could get a 6th year of eligibility. While a one-time top recruit, Brennan has never played all that much and is considered to be a fringe draft prospect.Brennan will be replaced in the Tigers’ first-unit by sophomore Max Johnson.
