Vet college QB Brewer moving to Liberty … Much-traveled veteran college QB Charlie Brewer is reportedly on the move again as there are reports that is he transferring to Liberty for the 2022 season, presumably to replace Malik Willis who is off to the 2022 draft. Brewer played for Baylor for 4 years from 2017 to 2020, but chose to use his free season to return for a 5th season in 2021 at Utah. However, Brewer only played in 3 games for the Utes before being benched in favor of junior Cameron Rising and then left the team and re-entered the transfer portal. Because Brewer played in less than 4 games in his original free season, the NCAA has awarded him an additional year and will now be able to play a 6th season for Liberty.
