Va Tech no-show hilites Thursday pro day

March 17, 2016

No-go hilites pro day results … Perhaps the biggest story from Thursday’s pro days across the country was the fact that Virginia Tech CB Kendall Fuller was again not able to workout at the Hokies pro day. Fuller, who is generally considered to be a second-round prospect for the upcoming draft – with some first round upside if he is healthy – underwent micro-fracture surgery in September and hasn’t played since including missing the combine last month. And its a little ominous for Fuller that he has not set a date for a private workout prior to the draft. Elsewhere, two of the more perplexing QBs in this year’s draft – Penn State’s Christian Hackenberg and Kevin Hogan of Stanford – both went through 60-play scripted workouts. And by all accounts both threw the ball reasonably well, although its not clear either did enough to significantly alter their current grades. Here are the full pro day updates as we have them.
