Utah, BYU RBs dinged … These are not good days to be a RB playing in the state of Utah as the starters for both Utah and BYU are dealing with significant injuries. Zack Moss of Utah, for example, one of the top RB prospects for the 2020 Draft, suffered a separated shoulder in Friday night’s loss to USC and will be out from 4-8 weeks. The 5-10, 225-pound Moss had run for almost 400 yards in the Utes first three games after posting over 1,000 yards in each of the previous two years. Meanwhile, BYU RB Ty’Son Williams, who kost consider to be a late-round or priority free agent prospect for the upcoming draft, is out for the season with a torn ACL suffered in Saturday’s loss to Washington. Since Williams only played in 4 games this season, he may be inclined to apply for a medical redshirt 6th season. However, since he is a 5th year player that has already used his redshirt season, he will have to apply for to the NCAA and get their approval.
