More unnderclassmen coning and going

More underclassmen comings and goings … Three more underclassmen have announced overnight that they would be entering the 2017 draft. The biggest name is Virginia Tech junior TE Bucky Hodges, one of the top 2-3 prospects at the position for the upcoming draft. The 6-6, 245-pound Hodges actually played WR this fall and in fact is really a WR in a TE’s body, but still figures to go back to his original position in the pros, although he will still be used far more often as a receiver than blocker at the next level. At the same time, Tennessee junior RB Alvin Kamara and Northwestern junior ILB Anthony Walker have also both indicated that they will be foregoing their final year of eligibility and turning pro. Both Kamara and Walker are considered to be either late second-day or early third prospects for the upcoming draft. Meanwhile, a pair of Wake Forest juniors – TE Cam Serigne and DE Duke Ejiofor have confirmed that they will not be entering this year’s draft, but will return for their senior campaigns.
