UM RB Evans suspended for year … Michigan senior RB Chris Evans, who had been expected to be the Wolverines’ starter this fall, has been suspended for the year because of academic issues. Evans has reportedly appealed the decision, but team officials aren’t holding out much hope that he will be available this fall. Because he has yet to redshirt, Evans could sit out the year and try to get his books in order, but it is also possible he could opt to enter the 2020 draft where he would figure to be a late round or free agent prospect.
