UDFA Ivy QB switches teams

UDFA Ivy QB switches teams … One reason that we are reluctant to list undrafted free agents until their team officially announces its UDFA signings is that stuff can change. This year, for example, we have seen former Oklahoma FB Jeremiah Hall listed among signings by both Seattle and NY Giants (although we do believe that its the latter that is his actual destination.) Meanwhile, it was reported on Sunday that Philadelphia had agreed to terms with former Brown QB EJ Perry. However, it appears that Perry reneged when the Eagles also signed Carson Strong, the top-rated UDFA rookie QB this year, and instead has actually signed with Jacksonville. We should also point out that there are actually two classes of UDFA signings. On the one hand, there are players who have signed a full-contract and will get a shot at training. At the same time, many teams will bring in up to 25-30 undrafted rookies to their mini-camp on a tryout basis of whom 2-3 might be expected to get a training camp invite.
