Two more receivers enter draft … No surprise here as Southern California junior WR JuJu Smith-Schuster has announced his intention to enter the 2017 draft. Smith-Schuster has long been considered to be one of the top 2-3 WR prospects for the upcoming draft, although he has his detractors as he doesn’t always run the crispest routes and has struggled at times to get separation against top corners. Still, Smith-Schuster is thought to be likely first rounder this coming April. With Smith-Schuster has long be been thought to be draft bound, the fact that Ohio State redshirt sophomore WR Noah Brown has also entered the draft is a surprise. At 6-2, 220, Brown has excellent size and decent speed, but he had only 32 receptions this fall after sitting out the entire 2015 campaign with a serious leg injury and one would have he would be better served returning to what should be a loaded OSU team in 2017 and putting up some big numbers. Underclassmen have until the end of business on January 16th to apply to the NFL for early enter to the 2017 draft.
