Two more backs enter draft … Two more junior RBs have indicated that they will be entering the 2017 draft including Aaron Jones of UTEP and Kentucky’s Stan ‘Boom’ Willams. Both are third day type prospects, although Jones does have some real upside if he tests well as pre-draft workouts. Jones isn’t huge at 5-10, 205, but is coming off a terrific year in which he ran for almost 1,800 yards and 17 scores as he averaged 7.7 YPC; for good measure, Jones is also a very good receiver. Williams is also somewhat undersized at 5-9, 200, but is a quick dependable back who with the potential to be a solid complimentary RB at the next level.
