Two more enter draft; Horns QB staying put … From the ‘punters are people too!’ file, Arizona State redshirt sophomore P Michael Turk has become the first specialist to declare for the 2020 draft where he has a chance to be the first punter selected this coming April. Turk, the nephew of long-time former NFL punter Matt Turk, with whom he spent a full year after high school getting some personal training, was a semifinalist for this year’s Ray Guy Award after averaging 46 yards per kick while putting almost half his punts inside the 20-yard line. Turk will be joined in the upcoming draft class field by Iowa junior SS Geno Stone, a 5-10, 210-pound later round prospect who had 70 tackles this past season, as well as 6 career picks and 4 career forced fumbles. On the other hand, Texas junior QB Sam Ehlinger has announced he will be back with the Longhorns next fall.
