The Turk warming up … While the full college football season gets underway later this evening, the NFL pre-season slate wraps up tonight with all teams in action playing their final warm-up game. Then its down to the serious business of getting rosters down to the 53-man opening day limit as all 32 teams have to make their cuts by 4 PM ET on Saturday. Once those released have cleared waivers, teams can begin adding players to their practice squads on Sunday afternoon. As usual, we’ll be tracking all the cuts and trades with a special eye toward players taken at the 2019 draft. Stay tuned.
