Tua returns to practice; LSU S not as Tide, Tigers head to game of the year … Second-ranked Alabama has confirmed that star junior QB Tua Tagovailoa returned to practice today as the Tide prepares for next weekend’s monumental showdown against top-ranked LSU. Tagovailoa, who is generally considered to be the top prospect at the position, if not overall (see above), for the upcoming draft, sat out last weekend’s easy win over Arkansas after suffering a high ankle sprain and undergoing a minor surgical procedure two weeks ago. Despite the fact that Tagovailoa returned to practice this week, Alabama head coach Nick Saban would only say that his star will be a game-time decision next week. On the other hand, LSU junior FS Grant Delpit, will not practice this week, and maybe not even next week, because of an ankle injury of his own. However, Tigers’ head coach Ed Orgeron says he expects Delpit, a potential top 10 pick this coming April, to be on the field when the two teams kick-off next weekend. Stay tuned!
