Trio of Duck stars to return; 4 to declare … With the clock ticking on underclassmen thinking of entering this year’s draft who have until the end of business on Tuesday to file the appropriate paperwork with the NFL league office, Oregon DE Matayo Uigalelei, OLB Teitum Tuioti and C Iapani Lalloulu have all confirmed that they will be back with the program next fall for another kick at the can. Meanwhile, the NFL has yet to hear from another 4 Duck prospects including QB Dante Moore, TE Kenyon Sadiq, DT A’Mauri Washington and S Dillon Thieneman. Moore, of course, is the big fish here as he is one of the only two QBs eligible to enter this year’s draft with legit top 5 potential along with Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza. Meanwhile, Sadiq is the consensus top TE in this year’s draft with first-round potential of his own; same for Washington, whiel Thieneman is one of the leading 2-3 safety candidates, although he’s more a late third round type. For the the record, while the deadline for underclassmen to enter the draft is Tuesday at 4 PM ET, players from Indiana and Miami who will be facing each other in the national championship finale a week from Monday – ie after the main deadline – will get an extension until January 23rd to file their paperwork.
