Top QB prospect dinged; said to be okay … Oregon junior QB Justin Herbert, the consensus top prospect at the position for the 2019 draft, is still undergoing tests on his throwing shoulder after being knocked out of Friday’s Civil War win over intra-state rival Oregon State. Herbert fell awkwardly on his right shoulder after being sacked late in the first half and did not return. So far, Oregon team officials don’t seem overly concerned that Herbert will miss any bowl prep time. Ducks’ head coach Coach Mario Cristobal, for example, expressed optimism about Herbert’s prognosis saying simply that “he’s good.” Despite the bravado, though, there is still some concern about the injury as Herbert missed the final 5 games of the 2018 season with a collarbone injury on the same shoulder. Stay tuned!
