Top picks coming down to the wire … With just a couple of weeks to go in the NFL’s regular schedule, there will be some changes in the early selection order for the 2025 draft this week as Jacksonville, which would have had the 3rd pick overall were the draft held this week will be hosting Tennessee which would have picked 4th. At the same time, the Giants will continue their pursuit of the #1 pick overall hosting Indianapolis this afternoon. To that end, the Giants will be starting Drew Lock, who appears to give them the best chance to lose, at QB. For the record, since replacing Daniel Jones at QB for the Giants, Lock has thrown more pick 6s (3) than TD passes (1). In one other game that impacts the top 10, Las Vegas, which would have had the 6th pick, will be at New Orleans which would have picked 10th. Elsewhere, #5 Cleveland will be hosting Miami, which looks like it will have to play without QB Tua Tagavailoa who has a hip issue, while #7 Carolina will be at Tampa Bay. Have a great day!!
