Top OT Sewell, Cal CB Bynum opt out, declare … The number of top prospects for the 2021 draft opting not to play this year continues to grow as both Oregon OT Penei Sewell and California CB Camryn Bynum announced today that are opting out of the current season to begin preparing for next April’s draft. Sewell, in particular, is a potential top 5 prospects, while Bynum figures to get some later opening round interest. And with Sewell opting out it means that all four of the guys thought to be the top-non-QB prospects in 2021 won’t play this fall. He joins LSU WR Ja’Marr Chase, Miami DE Greg Rousseau and Penn State LB Micah Parsons who had previously declared for the upcoming draft.
