Top ER hold serve … The unofficial results for the first run of the DEs are in an for the most part the top guys at the position did what they had to do. Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson rana respectable 4.75 40 with a good split of 1.62, while Kayvon Thibodeaux was a tenth faster (4.65) over 40 and had the same time over ten. Meanwhile, both Trayvon Walker of Georgia and David Ojabo of Michigan had unofficial 4.60 times. The top time for the DEs, though was posted by Ole Miss’ Sam Williams who blitzed a 4.52 with a 1.61 split. At the same time, the one DE who did disappoint was South Carolina’s JJ Enagbare whose best time was only 4.92 with a 1.72 split, one of the very few DEs with a split over 1.70. Of note Purdue’s George Karlaftis and San Diego State’s Cam Thomas opted not to run today, while Jermaine Johnson of Florida State, USC’s Drake Jackson and Boye Mafe of Minnesota are scheduled to workout later this evening with the LBs.
