Top DT prospect to have finger surgery; won’t lift in Indy … NFL Media is reporting this morning that Alabama DT Quinnen Williams, one of the top 2-3 prospects overall for the 2019 draft, will have surgery on a finger after the combine. As a result of the injury, Williams will not be able to do the bench press during combine testing. Williams originally injured the finger last season and played through it during the year; the injury is not considered to be serious and is not expected to impact his draft position nor his availability for the start of training camp this fall.
