Top 7 picks unchanged … It does not appear that there will be any changes at the top of the weekly 2017 first round selection order once all the games are done this week. Cleveland remained winless this afternoon, losing at home to the Giants to drop to 0-12, and will hang onto the #1 pick for at least another couple of weeks. The good news for the Browns is that they can’t lose next week as they will be on their bye week. Meanwhile, San Francisco, Chicago and Jacksonville, the Jets, Cincinnati and Los Angeles (with a pick traded to Tennessee) which came into the week sitting on the 2nd thru 7th picks respectively, all lost despite game efforts across the board and will hold onto those picks, again for at least another week. The rest of the top 10 and beyond, though, won’t be determined until after the Monday night game between Philadelphia and Green Bay. As usual, the full weekly first-round selection order for this year’s draft were the draft to be held this week, will be updated after tomorrow’s Monday night game.
